Here’s a sampling of Facebook and Instagram social media posts and accompanying post graphics that I created with design software.

I selected the photos and icons, and in many cases changed the contrast to enhance the picture to make it more visually appealing and to allow the words to show up more for easier readability.

Facebook Post: I added leaf icon to add focal point and changed the lighting in the photo to make it more visually pleasing.

Post wording: Join the Glenview Park District this spring for guided tours of the local floral and fauna. Trail walks start at 2 p.m. April 11 or May 16. Sign up at glenviewparks.org.

Facebook Post: This post is part of a social media campaign while the park district was shut down due to COVID. It had an accompanying email survey plan that the largest response with 300 partcipants.

Facebook Post: I added a black gradient and reduced opacity to create a darker background to make the white lettering pop.
